You can choose from these topics, or come up with one of your own:
- "Fun Friday" - try to convince me that this Friday should be a "fun" day
- "Cooking activity" - try to convince me that we should do a cooking activity in class
- "Silly Hats" - try to convince me that everyone should get to wear a silly hat in class
Make sure you include reasons and details to support your reasons to make your paragraph more convincing. Who knows, if your paragraph is persuasive enough, you might convince me to agree with you.

Dear Ms. Creagh, I have a proposition. The students who get their work done nicely and on time should be allowed to do fun activities, like cooking activities outside, and working on the Wiki. We always stay on task and get our work done. We never interrupt you. That's why the kids who get their work done should get to do fun things. When the other kids see the students who get their work done doing fun things, they will want to work harder too. So they will follow directions and get their work done on time. Thus, third grade will be fun for everybody. Please consider my proposition. Thank you. Rajath
Friday is a fun day because it is the last day before the weekend.Friday is also a fun day because you can stay up late afterschool.Friday is the best day of the week becauseyou don't have homework.

Students don't think we shouldn't have fun friday.I think we should have fun friday because there are lots of games you can play.Another reason why is because that it gives you more time to finish your unfinished work.My last reasons why is because you can play on the computer and this also gives you time to read a book.JMK
I think we should do a cooking project each week. We should do it because it wil be fun for us. every day we always sit somewhere and do our work. That´s not right. We shoud atleast have one fun activity. That´s why I think doing a cooking activity would be fun. You can also cook with us. It´s not only for students, teachers can do it too!! Fun Friday
I think we should have fun Friday because it will be fun for the kids then having work all Friday. You also can have fun “teachers” too cause you can have fun doing the activities with the children. You can plan what you can do like cooking, playing a game, spend time with are teacher. Its fun to have fun Friday. Maggie
Dear Mrs. Creagh having a fun and learning at the same time could teach us to understand the concept of the activity. Silly hats would be a good activity to express our personality or to express who we want to become in life or of favorite hero, for example I want to be an artist when I grow up so I would make an artist hat but make it silly and tell the kids about my favorite artist. I think this would be fun and educational for the class. BS
FUN FRIDAY
I think we should have fun Friday for the kids that have everything done. Like stuff in there work folder and all of there test and spelling contract. They should have fun on Friday because they have been working hard all week doing work, so they should have fun. We should go on the wiki or cook. Then the people who don't get to do it they will say i want fun Friday so they will work and get fun Friday. Also your teacher can have fun by teaching them how to do it, and you "the teacher" can do the fun things like cooking and showing how to do the wiki.
