Going Green for St. Patrick's Day

Today is St. Patrick's Day, and we're going green! Please respond to this blog post by describing some things you can do (or are hopefully already doing) to help the environment. Be specific in explaning how your efforts are affected the environment, and who is being helped as a result of what you're doing.

Use the links below to learn more about how you can help the environment, and try to come up with a plan for something we can do at school to make a difference.

To help the planet I save water because there is a short amount of water.I all so help the plant by turning off the lights before I go to school.I sometimes walk to friends house so my mom won't plot the air with gas from her car. That is how I help the planet.

Some things we can do to go green are:

1. Recycle anything that can be recycled
2. Try to convince farmers to use natural fertilizers not chemicals and not to use pesticides
3. Do your best not to pollute
4. Try to convince other people to do what ever they can to stop people from polluting
5. Reduce reuse recycle

Some things I am doing to help the environment is picking up litter, reducing, reusing, and recycling. Picking up litter helps animals survive because litter can make global warming and can melt ice in the arctic and that is where polar bears live and all the ice will melt and they will have no place to live so they would all die if people didn't pick up litter. Recycling helps the world by also prevent global warming and pollution because people might litter recycle able bottles and the extra liquid might pour out and flow to the river and that would pollute river.

One of the things that I am doing is recycling-a lot! Most of the time my family's recycle bin is overflowing the day of the recycle people come. Recycling helps the environment by not having to dig more smelly landfills for unnecessary things. I also pick up litter when I find it, even though it dosn't happen often, because Brookfield is a relatively clean place. That's 2 of the things I do to help save the environment.

I think that everybody should take care of the earth so it can stay green like it is suppost to be like.If people litter more than it can ploute the air, water, earth, and the animals.Plus why we need to keep it green because we have shotege on water wich means were on a droawt.SO KEEP THE EARTH CLEAN M.M

One way to go green is to recycle. Recycling is when somthing gets used for somthing else. A good example of recyling is a can. You put it in the bin and a truck comes and takes it away to a recycling company. There they wash it and make it into many different things. Or maybe you would like to plant a tree. Planting trees are good because many trees get cut down. If the trees get cut down then there is only dirt left. That means that if there is a nearby river and it rains the mud goes into the river and polutes it. There are many ways to save the world. Just reamber stay green.
