Compare and Contrast

As you've been reading about our many historical figures, I hope you've been looking for characteristics or experiences that some of these figures share. For this blog post, I'd like you to write about some of the similarities and differences you've discovered.

This blog post has several requirements, please read carefully:

1. Reread 2 of the biographies

2. As you read, jot down notes about both people

3. Use your notes to create a Venn diagram on a piece of legal-size paper (you will turn this in so
make sure your name is on it)

4. Use your Venn diagram to organize 2 paragraphs (one for comparison - or how these people are alike, and one for contrast - or how these people are different)

5. Avoid obvious details like age, man or woman, etc.

Be sure to include your initials in your reply. Thank you.

F.D. T.M.

F.d's child hood was different from T.M becuase he was enslaved so he didn't get to go to school.
T.M's child hood was in a time where laws limited African rgihts.
They are also different because F.D. argued for the freedom of enslaved people. T.M. argued about that seprate schools that were not equal, because he wanted African Americans to be treated equally.
These 2 people were alike becuase they both wanted people to be treated equally and they also made civil rights.

Compare & contrast
Franklin Roosevelt legs did not work, but he still had a great mind.
When Franklin was 14 he went to boarding school. When he was there he found out that not every booty was rich like he was. The last year of boarding school he made a summer camp for boys who did not have enough money to travel.

A few years later he married Eleanor Rooselevelt. As a child Eleanor was shy. She enjoyed traveling. She believed that she work to bring peace, education and freedom to the world.

When Franklin was elected he was in a wheel chair. So Eleanor traveled for hem and gave most of the speeches, but Franklin still gave some. They both made sure people could have money to keep care of there families.

When Franklin was president It was hard times, hard times. People were losing there jobs. So Franklin made jobs for them.

Eleanor was asked by Amelia Earhart, to fly with her. She also made hot dogs over a camp fire. She was not like enough other first ladies.
On the other hand Franklin was swimming to help his legs.

So that’s them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
